We're looking for a Sales Administration and Support Executive to support our opportunity identification and development activities in the Engineering & Public Sector sectors.


Fathom recently joined the Swiss Re group, furthering its vision of becoming the gold standard in the provision of flood risk intelligence.

About the role





The main purpose of this role is to support existing sales teams from an account-based prospecting, development and administrative angle across global and US engineering consultancies and US public sector organisations. We are looking for someone who enjoys building the "beginning" of the sales pipeline and is happy to provide administrative support for the team. Success will be measured and bonused on an activity basis, not on closed sales.


This position would therefore be ideal for someone who enjoys working in an exciting sales team environment, who wants to play an important role in building new business but who is not interested in a revenue-targeted, commission based position.

Responsibilities



Account development: Support the development of strategic US & global accounts for revenue growth

Prospecting and pipeline development

: Identify prospects and perform outreach activities to targeted engineering and public sector organisations and qualify prospects and opportunities.

Lead management

:

Manage

inbound leads, maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and customer interactions in Salesforce.

Event support: Perform pre-event outreach and post event follow up activities for conferences we attend and webinars we host.

Proposal development

: Assist in the development of proposals and presentations.

Sales administration:

Provide administrative support to the sales team, including order processing in Salesforce, performing regulatory checks and scheduling meetings

Reporting

: Generate sales reports, dashboards, and analytics to provide insights into sales performance and trends

Collaborate

: Work closely with the engineering marketing team to support various marketing activities

Required Skills and Qualifications



Essential - prior experience in a prospecting, sales administration or executive support role, ideally working in a high value, longer sales cycle B2B data, SaaS, DaaS or tech market Proficiency with SalesForce, Hubspot or other B2B CRM software Strong communication skills with social media sales networking (LinkedIn) preferably with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Cognism or ZoomInfo experience Proven ability to communicate directly with clients and prospects via social media (LinkedIn), phone, email and events Established creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills Strong desire to work in a high-tech climate risk environment Highly organised, detail oriented * Self-starter who enjoys working in a team but can work independently
