Key Responsibilities:
Generating new sales leads through outbound calls, emails, and research
Booking meetings and appointments for external sales representatives
Managing and maintaining the sales diary to ensure full utilisation
Following up warm leads and previous enquiries
Updating CRM systems with accurate customer and prospect information
Supporting the sales team with quotes, sales administration, and reports
Handling inbound enquiries and qualifying potential customers
Liaising with the transport and operations teams where required
Requirements:
Previous experience in an administrative or sales support role
Experience within haulage, transport, or logistics is desirable but not essential
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Confident telephone manner and customer service skills
Competent with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
