Power On, part of the BUUK Infrastructure Group, are looking for

Sales & Business Development Advisor

who would like to help us reach our mission to "earn customer loyalty and drive business growth by providing consistently excellent service".

Purpose of this role



To support the Sales teams and Tendering function to help build long-term, loyal relationships with Power On customers. This will be by generating new sales opportunities that will lead to quotes and confirmed scheme sales by calling prospective customers.

Your key responsibilities are



Build relationships with external & internal customers and offer excellent customer service throughout the process, from initial contact to responding to post sales query.

Seek opportunities to maximise the sales potential for Power On and wider BUUK group.

Generate new company leads & new quote requests from clients interested in Power On services.

Make follow up calls to any sales campaigns led by the Group and gain commitment to close each lead to a conclusion.

Monitor, control and expediate all project leads within parameters agreed with the BDMs and National Sales Manager(s). This includes any leads /quotes on hold or paused.

Respond timely to customer enquiries and support the sales team in developing sales leads.

Operate as a key point of contact between Power On, our client base, and other Group organisations.

Build and maintain a database of potential and existing customers.

Ensure that information contained in this database reflects relevant and current market intelligence, including intelligence around business gained or lost.

Build a close working relationship with other departments in Power On.

Recognise the business benefit of cultivating such relationships.

Qualifications



GCSE level / grade C or equivalent.

Experience/Knowledge



Knowledge of working within a sales/lead generating environment.

Abilities/Skills



Ability to use Microsoft Office software.

Strong customer focus.

Ability to work to tight timescales and under pressure.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong interpersonal skills.

Creative and enquiring mind, and a natural appetite to think laterally.

Organisational ability and sound time management.

Desirable



Utilities experience.

Business acumen and 'political' awareness.

Lead generation experience.
