The Opportunity
Are you an organised, proactive, and customer-focused professional? We are seeking a Sales and Commercial Administrator to join our Internal Sales team at Rawcliffe. In this pivotal role, you'll provide essential administrative support to both the internal sales and commercial departments, ensuring seamless communication and a high standard of service for both internal and external clients.
The Job
Reporting to the Internal Sales Team Leader, you will:
Raise and process enquiries within our CRM systems.
Create customer records, products and quotes using Quest/ESP.
Ensure new products are set up accurately with the correct origination and machine routing.
Assist in compiling information and pricing for tenders.
Support internal sales administration (e.g., raising trial orders, processing artwork approvals, generating price lists).
Work closely with the commercial department and provide cover during absences.
Ensure all quotations and tenders are completed by commercial and submitted to the relevant customer and/or external representative.
Ensure customer orders are booked onto the system accurately and in a timely manner.
Ensure customer complaints are logged on the day of receipt.
Ensure the accuracy of orders for bought-in lines from external suppliers.
Manage accounts internally and provide cover for absence within departments.
Work closely with internal sales, design, commercial, planning, logistics, production and external sales to ensure customer satisfaction.
Provide holiday cover across the internal sales department.
The Person
We're looking for:
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Experience in a similar role within a dynamic business environment.
Strong Excel skills and proficiency with CRM systems.
Highly numerate and analytical, with strong organisational and computer skills.
A true team player who thrives under pressure and manages time effectively.
High achiever with a positive, proactive attitude.
