At Pickled Pumpkin, we specialise in creating memorable events that leave a lasting impact. We are looking for a passionate and driven Sales and Event Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll help us plan, execute, and sell exciting events while delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Client Relations:
Drive event sales by identifying new business opportunities and developing strong relationships with clients.
Respond to client inquiries, prepare proposals, and close sales.
Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored event solutions.
Track sales goals and performance to ensure targets are met.
When required to plan and execute events from start to finish, ensuring all logistics are in place.
Coordinate vendors, venues, and suppliers to meet event requirements.
Handle event timelines, budgets, and schedules.
Events:
Lead the running of the wedding day, acting as the main point of contact for the couple and venue.
Oversee set-up of dining areas, decor, and catering requirements in line with plans provided.
Manage the catering and front-of-house team during service, ensuring timings are followed.
Liaise with suppliers and venue staff to coordinate logistics on the day.
Troubleshoot and resolve any last-minute issues calmly and professionally.
Provide clear direction and support to service staff.
Ensure a smooth handover at the end of the event and assist with breakdown.
Marketing & Promotion:
Assist in the promotion of upcoming events through social media, email campaigns, and other marketing channels.
Collaborate with marketing teams to develop event strategies to increase attendance and sales.
Skills and Experience:
Proven experience in sales, event planning, or hospitality (1-3 years preferred).
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple events simultaneously.
A positive attitude and a team player mentality.
Flexibility to travel to events as required.
Full UK driving licence and access to a car.
