An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within our Sales & Logistics team, who provide an essential service in our business ensuring that all orders are processed and despatched in a compliant and swift manner.
This role is based in an extremely fast paced office which will provide a challenging environment with a variety of different tasks. As a Sales and Logistics Administrator, you will have to adhere to strict compliance procedures and ensure the most appropriate transport is booked for customer orders. The successful candidate will be required to undertake their Multi Modal Dangerous Goods certification, if they do not already possess.

Main Duties:
Be responsible for receiving and inputting all sales orders accurately and efficiently adhering to our Zero inbox regime
Dealing with order related customer enquiries by phone and email.
Manage the planning of the logistics, including creating shipping schedules.
Liaising with freight forwarders to ensure timely collections and deliveries.
Maintain and develop good working relationship with our customers, working with the Sales and Logistics Office Manager to foster continuous improvement in our services and adaptability to their ever-changing needs.
Compile accurate documentation needed to support the Sales and Logistics Office, including creating Dangerous Goods certification and shipping labels.
Take ownership of all tasks and to work with team colleagues.
To adhere to our ISO procedure and report any issues.
Build strong internal working relationships with other departments.
Skills and knowledge required:
Essential
This role requires a high attentional to detail and knowledge of the Microsoft suite with particular focus on Excel
Attention to detail - checking for data accuracy in orders and documentation.
Ability to work under pressure and adhere to strict deadlines
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Previous experience in a logistics environment would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be given to the successful candidate.
