sales and Marketing Manager - up to 45,000 + Sales Incentives

Location: Hencote, Shrewsbury

Hencote is one of England's leading vineyards, set in the beautiful Shropshire countryside. We are now seeking a dynamic and driven individual to lead and expand our Wine Tourism business.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to shape and grow a premium tourism experience. As Head of Wine Tourism, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that increase visitor engagement, event bookings, and wine sales through tourism channels. You will target both existing and new markets including local and regional businesses, inbound international tourism, private events, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and grow Hencote's Wine Tourism division. Develop sales and marketing strategies to expand customer reach and revenue. Identify and build partnerships with tourism operators, corporate clients, and event organisers. Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and target market assessment. Set goals, manage performance, and lead a small team to success. Host and attend events, acting as a key brand ambassador for Hencote.

About You:

Proven background in Sales and Marketing Management, ideally in FMCG or a related sector. Strong commercial mindset with experience delivering growth through new business development. Skilled in research, market analysis, planning, and strategy execution. Excellent interpersonal skills with charisma, energy, and a passion for hospitality and tourism. A self-starter with a track record of exceeding targets. Willingness to relocate quickly to Shrewsbury is highly desirable.
