Full time, 39 hours per week. We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Sales Order Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing customer orders efficiently, ensuring accuracy, and providing excellent support to our sales and logistics departments. Responsibilities
Process customer orders accurately and promptly using our order management system
Liaise with sales teams to confirm order details and delivery requirements
Monitor order status and update customers on progress or delays and liaising with third party warehouses
Process daily invoicing, ensuring accuracy
Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely dispatch of goods
Maintain comprehensive records of all transactions and correspondence
Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to orders efficiently and professionally.
Assist in preparing reports related to order processing metrics
Support the team with administrative duties as required, including data entry and filing
Requirements
Proven experience in order administration, customer service, or a similar administrative role
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with order management software
Experience with ERP systems, such as Netsuit and SAP advantageous
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously within tight deadlines
A proactive attitude with problem-solving capabilities
Must have a hands on approach in a busy, fast-paced environment.
