Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Sales Associate to join our team in our family run independent, specializing in fine jewellery. As a Sales Associate, you will be the face of our brand, providing exceptional customer service and building lasting relationships with our clients. Your knowledge and enthusiasm for fine jewellery will help guide our customers in selecting the perfect pieces for their special occasions. Previous experience or knowledge of the jewellery industry is helpful, but not necessary, as training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

Provide outstanding customer service to all clients, ensuring a memorable and positive shopping experience.

Sales Performance:

Meet and exceed sales goals through effective communication and product knowledge.

Product Knowledge:

Maintain a deep understanding of our fine jewellery collections, including gemstones, metals, and craftsmanship.

Client Relations:

Build and maintain strong client relationships through personalized service and follow-up communication.

Merchandising:

Assist with the display and presentation of merchandise, ensuring the store is visually appealing and well-organized.

Inventory Management:

Participate in inventory counts and assist with stock management to ensure accurate product availability.

Transactions:

Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, handling payments and documentation with care.

Team Collaboration:

Work collaboratively with team members to achieve store goals and create a positive work environment.

Qualifications:

Experience:

Previous experience in fine jewellery sales or luxury retail is preferred but not essential

Customer-Focused:

Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.

Communication:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Sales Skills:

Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and deliver exceptional service.

Product Knowledge:

Enthusiasm for and knowledge of fine jewellery, gemstones, and metals.

Detail-Oriented:

Attention to detail with strong organizational skills.

Tech-Savvy:

Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems and other retail software.

Flexibility:

Ability to work a flexible schedule, including Saturdays

There is also an exciting bonus scheme in place providing the chance to increase earnings.

Working hours- 9am-5pm

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 21,000.00-26,000.00 per year
