Sales Commercial Manager (agricultural Experience Required Full Time)

Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to oversee commercial operations and drive business success in a leading plant breeding company. This pivotal role will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans, ensuring the effective execution of commercial sales across all plant species, and fostering cross-functional collaboration. This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven professional with strong leadership skills, a passion for commercial excellence and a strong agricultural background.

Your main responsibilities:



Lead commercial operations to achieve sales targets and business growth. Develop and execute commercial strategies to meet business objectives. Clearly communicate strategies and objectives across teams. Prepare and deliver key management and financial reports, including, fortnightly business reports on KPIs, meeting all data entry requirements for sales software and sales budgets and forecasts management and reporting. Oversee CRM implementation and usage within the team. Provide mentorship and leadership to both commercial and technical teams. Collaborate closely with production, logistics, finance, and marketing departments to ensure seamless operations.

Your main skills:



Must have knowledge of agricultural industry - in particular, dynamics of the distribution channel knowledge of global agricultural industry trends Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills. Strong analytical and critical thinking. Exceptional organisational and planning skills. Experience in developing and implementing strategic business plans. Management and leadership experience. Demonstrable success within a commercial environment. Must have right to work in UK, unfortunately we do not offer UK VISA sponsorship
