We're looking for a

Sales & Estimating Coordinator

to join our growing team. The role involves generating new business, preparing accurate job costings, and ensuring smooth handovers from enquiry to production. This is a varied, hands-on position with long-term career prospects.

Key Responsibilities

Proactively generate new business in targeted market sectors. Prepare accurate job costings based on material, labour, and supplier prices. Produce quotations in line with agreed margin targets to ensure profitability. Liaise with customers to clarify technical requirements and timelines. Work closely with the production team to ensure jobs are handed over smoothly and accurately.

Essential Skills & Experience

Experience in fabrication, welding, or machining environments. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Strong numerical and problem-solving skills. Commercial awareness or willingness to learn costing/pricing methods. Good communication skills for both customers and colleagues. Proactive, self-motivated and organised. Competent using

Microsoft Office

. Willingness to learn and work with

SuperOffice CRM

and

Sage Accounts

software.

Desirable Skills

Previous estimating or sales experience in a manufacturing environment. Understanding of EN1090 standards. CAD skills (AutoCAD/Inventor) for sales drawings.

Salary & Benefits

26,000 - 30,000 per annum (depending on experience)
