Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Sales Executive to join our team. The role is a key part of what we do, providing the crucial 'bridge' between our customers and our internal purchasing and logistics teams, mainly supplying goods to our customers overseas.

This post is an opportunity to utilise your customer service skills within a modern business environment, where you will be supported by a great professional team culture. You will work as part of a multi-skilled Customer Service Team engaging with Customers via inbound phone and email contact, handling quotes, purchase orders, sales orders and customer service enquiries. The role will be fast paced where attention to detail and the ability to multi-task is essential, whilst working to tight deadlines. This permanent role will ideally suit an experienced candidate who can demonstrate a good track-record of success in a similarly administrative fast paced position.

As an integral part the Sales Team you will be responsible for the following duties:

Ensure a prompt response to all inbound customer enquiries; from the web, phone, email and chat, whilst providing excellent customer service and finding solutions to their problems. Source/Procure specialist industrial products from suppliers around the world. Timely preparation of sending quotes. Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers through regular follow-up calls. Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed assigned sales targets. Using a Sales Order Processing system to ensure all purchase and sales orders are managed in an accurate and streamlined manner. Monitoring delivery dates with suppliers and keeping customers informed of delivery dates. Informing customers of unforeseen delays or problems. Working closely with the Warehouse, and Logistics Team to ensure seamless deliveries. Supporting, as needed, the coordination of international exports, mainly to the Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
Key Experiences & Skills required:

Minimum GCSE Grade 5 or above (old Grade C and above) in English and Maths. Previous experience working in a customer service/ sales admin environment would be beneficial. Exceptional customer service skills with the resilience to stay calm and professional with customers. The ability to prioritise and work under pressure and to deadlines. An effective collaborator with an appreciation of teamwork and a can-do attitude. A self-motivated approach with the ability to effectively prioritise tasks. Ability to accurately multitask in a pressured environment Must be a confident communicator by telephone and email. Computer literate, and a good working knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel.
