We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive to join our team, based in Burnham on Sea. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a strong background in sales. Although this role is predominantly office-based, the candidate will be expected to manage their own diary as field sales will be required.
As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for driving growth, selling our software solutions to new clients and communicating with our current clients to ensure maximum revenue potential is obtained and customer service is at the highest level.
Responsibilities
Lead Generation
: Identifying potential customers through research, networking, and using various marketing tools.
Sales Presentations
: Demonstrating the software to prospects, highlighting its features and benefits, and addressing any concerns.
Client Relationship Management
: Building and maintaining relationships with existing and potential clients, ensuring their satisfaction and trust, whilst identifying new opportunities.
Negotiation and Closing Sales
: Working with clients to negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts, aiming to close sales deals.
Collaboration with Teams
: Working with marketing, product, and customer support teams to ensure a seamless sales process.
Sales Reporting
: Tracking sales progress, forecasting future sales, and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs).
Develop and implement:
effective sales strategies to achieve targets.
Report:
on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback.
Technical Understanding
: a basic understanding of the technical aspects of the product may be needed to communicate effectively with clients.
Communication Skills
: Strong verbal and written communication are vital, particularly when presenting complex software solutions.
CRM Tools
: Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management tools to track leads, manage customer relationships, and streamline the sales process.
Skills and experience
The ability to persuade, negotiate, and close deals is crucial.
Proven experience in a sales role, preferably within software or similar environment.
Strong communication skills in English
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Ability to understanding the software, its features, and how it can benefit customers.
Previous experience in B2B sales
Full clean driving license
Proven record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Ability to understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions
Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
Self-motivated and target-driven mindset
Experience within property lettings is preferred, as is experience in selling software.
Leadership skills preferred
