John Knight Glass is looking for a dynamic hard working Sales Executive that is excited by the prospect of dealing with cutting edge window products. Whilst also being completely comfortable with the administrative requirements that are necessary to service our high-end and sometimes technical projects.
Role responsibilities
Customer interaction:- You will be required to Interact with clients in four key capacities: 1, Inbound showroom enquires: it will be your responsibility to engage with a potential client, understand their requirements, and show them the most appropriate product. 2, Home appointments: going to peoples properties to measure windows for quoting purposes, and find out there requirements. 3, Telephone: You will be required to take inbound customer enquiries and effectively enter them into our client database. You will also be required to act as general telephone support for all inbound telephone calls. 4, Email: To interact with inbound enquiries, throughout the quotation process.
Sales:- You will be required to take inbound sales enquires, that come through our showroom, website, and telephone system and convert them into acceptances, by understanding their requirements, and creating solutions.
Quoting:- You will be required to carry out administrative quoting, which includes, but is not limited to: Taking architects drawings, from clients, main contractors, designers, and architects themselves, and converting them into sizes that can be sent to manufacturers; then you must process these raw material costs, calculate an installation fee and margin, and then sending the client their quotation. This is a challenging but enjoyable task.
Customer Communication:- You will be required to maintain constant communication with clients to keep them involved in the quoting process, and give them the reassurance that you are creating an effective solution to their window and door requirements. After quoting you will be required to maintain contact with your client database to try to achieve conversion on your quotation.
Personal Specification:
We appreciate that our company is very unique and so for any person coming into the business there will be a learning curve that will be bridged with extensive product training, therefore we are looking at a candidates skill set before their experience.
