Mpirical are an industry leading mobile and wireless technical training organisation, who work globally across a number of verticals, upskilling engineers and people within the telecom sector. Much of our content is on demand, but we also train onsite and remotely, depending on the customers needs. Aside from our standard course offerings, we also have many bespoke solutions and learning tools, which sets us aside from our competitors.

Role Overview:



We are recruiting for a proactive and driven Sales Executive to join our small team based in Lancaster. The right candidate can be based in the Lancaster area or near Reading with occasional travel to the head office and events as required.

This role is ideal for someone with B2B sales experience and is confident managing smaller-value accounts while driving growth through renewals, upselling, and inbound lead conversion. You'll play a key part in developing relationships, supporting marketing campaigns, and nurturing leads with long sales cycles, using a solution-based selling approach. Knowledge of the telecoms or training industry would be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:



Account Management & Growth

Manage a global portfolio of small to mid-value B2B accounts, with a focus on retention and expansion

Drive timely renewals while identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities

Proactively build relationships to expand accounts over time

Sales Development & Lead Conversion

Manage marketing campaign follow ups, free trials, and website enquiries

Generate meetings for industry and networking events

Support the sales pipeline with consistent, outreach and follow-up

Event & Campaign Support

Attend and represent the company at industry-leading and networking events

Support and follow up on marketing initiatives and campaigns to maximise ROI

Engage with prospects at each type of event

Pipeline & CRM Management

Manage a pipeline of prospects across different stages, often with longer sales cycles

Maintain up-to-date and accurate records in the CRM - knowledge of Zoho would be an advantage

Work closely with marketing to align outreach with lead generation goals

Social & Strategic Selling

Leverage LinkedIn and other platforms to build relationships and generate leads

Monitor market trends and competitor activity to contribute to outreach strategies

Collaborate with internal teams to develop targeted messaging and offers

Key Skills and Experience:



2-5 years of proven B2B sales experience

Experience in expanding existing customer accounts and managing renewals

Strong understanding of managing sales pipelines with long sales cycles

Confident in delivering product demonstrations and presentations

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Confident using CRM systems and sales tools

Comfortable working across teams and supporting marketing campaigns

Self-motivated, proactive, organised, and commercially aware

Excellent communications skills (both written and verbal)

Desirable:



Knowledge or experience in the telecommunications or training industries

Exposure to industry-specific events, webinars, or conferences

Track record of building relationships through LinkedIn and networking

Pay: 35,000.00-45,000.00 per year
