Cosmonauts is a Business Development and Marketing Consultancy with a focus on putting the right people in the same place by connecting Vendors with potential customers. We do this through 3 outlets (Our brand events, Bespoke workshops, and we are launching our own proprietary software, which allows us to maximise sponsorship ROI at competitor events). While our offices are headquartered in London, UK, we are a global company and host events across the USA, UK, Europe and Africa. Our main focus verticals include: Legal Tech, IP Tech, Sustainability Tech & Space Tech.

Job Summary:



We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Executive to join our dynamic and fast-growing sales team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to launch a career in sales. The Sales Executive will gain hands-on experience in identifying leads, initiating contact, building relationships, and ultimately contributing to the company's revenue growth through proactive outbound efforts.

Key Responsibilities:



Lead Generation and Qualification:

Conduct thorough research to identify potential leads and target audiences using various resources (e.g., online databases, social media, industry publications). Qualify leads based on predefined criteria to ensure alignment with our products/services. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leads and activities in the CRM system.

Outbound Sales Activities:

Proactively reach out to potential customers through various outbound channels, including cold calling, email marketing, and social selling. Develop and deliver compelling sales pitches and presentations tailored to the specific needs of prospects. Schedule and conduct introductory meetings.

Relationship Building and Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective customers through consistent and professional communication. Understand customer needs and challenges to effectively position our solutions. Follow up with leads in a timely and effective manner to nurture them through the sales pipeline.

Learning and Development:

Actively participate in sales training programs and workshops to enhance product knowledge, sales techniques, and industry understanding. Work closely with experienced sales team members to learn best practices and strategies. Seek feedback and continuously strive for improvement in sales performance.

Sales Reporting and Analysis:

Track and report on outbound sales activities and progress against targets. Provide insights and feedback on the effectiveness of different outbound strategies. Contribute to the development of more effective outbound sales approaches.

Collaboration:

Work collaboratively with other members of the sales, marketing, production and Data teams to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach. Share insights and best practices with colleagues.

Qualifications and Skills:



Strong interest in sales and outbound marketing. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal. Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new information and processes. Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented. Strong organisational and time management skills. Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., G-Suite). Experience with CRM software is a plus. Resilience and the ability to handle rejection.
