JOB DESCRIPTION:
Job duties:
Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, addressing customer inquiries and concerns related to bookings, future stays, and post-checkout issues.
Collaborate with senior management to understand customer needs and optimize service offerings.
Ensure a positive and memorable guest experience at every interaction.
Maximise sales opportunities by effectively promoting the hotel's services, including room options, amenities, packages, and event spaces.
Advise clients on budgeting, payment methods, and package options to best suit their requirements.
Communicate openly and regularly with supervisors, sharing relevant information on targets, progress, and customer feedback.
Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and resolve customer disputes or complaints efficiently and professionally.
Track sales activities and contribute to the development and execution of sales strategies designed to meet or exceed targets.
Manage client expectations related to room availability, check-in/check-out processes, and overall service delivery.
Maintain thorough knowledge of the hotel's offerings, services, and competitive advantages, using this knowledge to guide client decisions.
Enforce and promote high standards of product knowledge, both within the sales team and in client interactions.
Forecast sales goals, identify opportunities for product and service improvements, and adjust strategies as needed to meet market demands.
Job requirements:
Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role. On the job training provided.
Degree qualifications preferred. Other qualifications considered.
