Location: Remote
Office Location: If you would prefer to work from the office our Banana HQ is in Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5:30pm with 1hour unpaid lunch (37.5 hours per week)
Reports To: Senior Sales Manager
Salary: 30,000 basic plus bonus opportunity

We currently have a really great opportunity for a sales executive to join the tribe. The ideal candidate will

  • Have a background in sales with a proven track record of account management success and target-driven results
  • Have events experience - this is desirable but not essential
  • Be results driven and hungry to succeed
  • Be confident and self-motivated
  • Possess great conversation skills and fantastic communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Have a creative mind and not afraid to think out of the box
  • Be diligent and willing to go the extra mile
  • Have good social skills with the ability to quickly forge strong relationships, whilst also being a team player
A team overview
The Event Sales Team creates memorable events for large groups including corporate customers, schools, youth organisations, and others. The team receive both incoming requests and proactively generated leads, creating tailored adventures (including working with 3rd party suppliers if required), ensuring that our customers receive an amazing experience at each stage of their Go Ape journey.
Our B2B events bookings are worth around 3 million a year for Go Ape but we are wanting to grow this area of the business significantly over the next few years. We have an opportunity particularly to grow our corporate bookings all year round.
What you'll be doing
This role is for a highly motivated and proactive salesperson. You will be responsible for driving sales growth through strategic outreach, relationship building and customer engagement. You will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities and nurturing existing agency relationships to meet and exceed sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Generation - Actively identify and pursue new sales opportunities through networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.
  • Customer Engagement - Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Sales Presentations - Deliver compelling presentations to prospective clients and corporate agencies
  • Sales Strategy Development - Collaborate with the Sales Manager to execute and influence effective sales strategies and campaigns.
  • Pipeline Management - Maintain an organised and up-to-date sales pipeline using CRM tools, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting.
  • Customer Support - Provide exceptional post-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and drive repeat business.
