This role is designed for a forward thinking experienced manager within the Luxury destination industry with exceptional knowledge, strong leadership skills to oversee and manage the sales department ensuring the team achieves it sales targets and overall revenue goals.
They will lead, coach and motivate the sales team while also managing budgets, analysing data and implementing sales strategies.
Who can also improve efficiency and increase profits while managing the overall operations of the ILE brand generating revenue through digital channels like email marketing and specifically social media channels.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the sales budget including forecasting setting ambitious goals and objectives ensuring profitability to drive and lead the sales team.
Cultivate a collaborative and competitive environment where everyone thrives.
Develop, execute and implement a sales strategy and sales process in line with social media platforms.
Recognise and reward top performers, inspiring excellence across the brand.
Implement innovative incentives and team-building activities to keep the team motivated for success. Foster a positive and growth-oriented mindset.
Recruit, onboard and train new sales agents ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge.
Coaching, mentor, provide guidance, feedback and support sales team members to improve performance and achieve goals & targets.
Utilise situational leadership to tailor your approach to each team member's needs.
Ensure personal development takes place from new recruits to high performers through regular call listening and structured one to ones.
Address and resolve any issues or conflicts within the team and establish performance related issues and competently manage to conclusion.
Delegate tasks and provide guidance.
Carryout team meetings and managers 121's.
Collaborate with Product Managers on commercial and marketing initiatives, aligning with ILE team goals.
Making business decisions that will add value to and have a real impact on sales KPI'S.
Track and analyse sales data, identify trends and generate reports to inform decision making and produce internal reports for escalation to senior management.
Ensure compliance with all relevant company policies and regulations liaise between sales team and other departments.
Ensure ILE is leading by example in a competitive marketplace.
Skills and Experience Required
Experience in sales management within Luxury travel company is essential with expertise and knowledge in both packages and dynamic package luxury holidays.
Thorough understanding of social media sales process to collaborate with social marketing manager on campaigns and provide feedback.
A high performer with a history of exceeding sales targets and achieving outstanding customer service.
Strong leadership skills, positive, energetic, and outgoing individual comfortable leading and developing others with inspiration and encouragement.
Confident interpretation of relevant data including analysis of sales performance to effective rota management.
Motivated by achieving results through your team.
Ability to create and maintain a positive, enthusiastic working environment to drive and maximise sales opportunities.
