The Sales Manager will lead and develop a team of Precious Metals Advisors to ensure high-quality consultative sales, outstanding customer service, and effective team performance. They will act as a key liaison between the sales function and the Customer Care Manager, playing a central role in optimising customer journeys, supporting compliance, and achieving business growth.

Proven experience in leading or supervising a customer-facing sales team.
Strong coaching skills, especially in consultative sales environments.

Confident interpreting data and CRM dashboards to drive decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership:
Drive sales through a consultative approach, understanding customer needs, and providing tailored investment advice on precious metals, whilst encouraging cross- and up-selling.
Performance Management:
Monitor daily/weekly KPIs: call handling, email SLAs, conversions, feedback to the SLT.
Training & Development:
Deliver hands on coaching sessions and conduct regular one to ones.
Collaboration & Operational Oversight:
Work closely with Customer Care to identify and implement operational processes and improvements.
AML Compliance:
Ensure full compliance with AML regulations, including verifying customer identities and monitoring transactions.

Multitasker:
Skilled at managing multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
Exceptional Verbal Communication:
Excellent verbal communication skills, with a strong ability to engage customers both over the phone and face-to-face.
Market Analysis:
Stay informed about market trends and tax implications to offer accurate advice and identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities.
Technical Proficiency:
Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.
Mathematical Skills: Basic maths skills to accurately calculate intrinsic values and premiums for customer quotations.
GCSE A-C / 9-4 or equivalent in Maths and English.
