Job Description

Working as part of the Luxury Fabrics group, focusing predominantly on the Joshua Ellis brand, this is a role for someone who wishes to sell and promote one of the oldest and successful woollen brands in the UK.

You will work closely with the designer to ensure we are developing products to the needs of our customers. A good knowledge of design/ manufacture would be helpful.

Whilst the Joshua Ellis brand will be your focus you will also assist with the sales for our other successful brands of John Foster, William Halstead, Kynoch of Scotland, Standeven and Escorial.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for creating the future strategy and business plan of the brand Responsible for managing proactively the sales of the Joshua Ellis brand globally To work alongside the brand designer and sell and develop the brand Delivering sales and profit targets as agreed with the managing director Along with the managing director preparing the annual sales budget Daily management of agents Daily communication with customers and agents Providing support in your colleague's markets as required Customer visits as required Participation in seasonal cloth exhibitions Foreign Travel will be essential for the role Any other suitable tasks the business feels are appropriate

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS



Good written and spoken English Educated to GCSE standard (or equivalent) Language skills would be an advantage

ESSENTIAL SKILLS



Worsted / Woollen cloth sales experience - essential Export sales experience - essential Design and Manufacturing knowledge - desirable Computer literacy (Word, Excel, Outlook) - essential A working knowledge of TMS (Textile manufacturing system- desirable)
