Examples of What You Will Do
This is a fast paced role with huge variety and some of the activities include:
1. Talking to clients.
This is an office based role where you will spend most of your day talking to clients on the phone. When you are not talking with them you will be communicating to them via email.
2. Building relationships.
You will need to build relationships with clients and with colleagues to be truly successful.
3. Deal with incoming enquiries.
Most of this role will be dealing with incoming enquiries from our website, your colleagues and our customers. Occasionally, prospecting will be required to achieve targets.
4. Offering solutions that work.
To position the best products you'll need to get to know your clients by thorough questioning. This high level of information will enable you to build a solution from our portfolio to genuinely impact on their business and lives.
5. Leading and managing the Sales Team.
You will oversee the day-to-day management of the Sales Team, including all management responsibilities to ensure the team operates efficiently and effectively.
6. Coaching and developing your team.
You will monitor calls, provide ongoing supervision, coaching, and feedback to advisers at all levels to ensure they can reach KPIs and targets.
7. Conducting regular 1:2:1s
. You will meet regularly with team members, implementing performance measures where required and constructing action plans to address issues.
8. Creating a results-oriented culture.
You will develop a culture within the Sales Team that emphasizes customer service excellence while being focused on achieving and exceeding targets.
9. Developing training plans.
You will ensure the continual training and development of the Sales staff to maintain high performance standards.
10. Providing management information.
You will generate accurate reports on the productivity and efficiency of the sales operation in a timely manner.
11. Implementing sales and customer service processes.
You will develop and implement processes and procedures in line with company standards.
Requirements for this position
We are open to hiring candidates with different backgrounds, experiences, and skills. However, there are a few non-negotiable traits that any successful candidate will possess.
1. Sales and leadership experience.
You will need proven sales experience with a track record of consistently meeting and exceeding targets. Additionally, you must have experience in managing and leading sales teams, with the ability to coach, develop, and motivate team members to achieve their full potential. You will receive excellent induction training over several weeks, but your background in both sales and team leadership is essential for this role.
2. Proven winner.
You must be used to sales targets and KPIs. We are looking for people who are target driven and can demonstrate exceeding them.
3. Desire to learn.
You must have a hunger to improve and the ability to learn new skills.
4. You are organised.
This is a fast paced role with a mix of proactive and reactive activities. The right candidate will be able to juggle multiple priorities and work well under pressure.
5. You bring energy into the room.

6. You are hardworking and passionate about the sector.
