About the job
The profitable growth and development of J & E Hall's Industrial Product Sales (Compressors/packs and Applied products) in the UK and Overseas in accordance with agreed business plans.
Main Responsibilities

• Has contact, at the appropriate level, with new and existing customers.
• Maintains close contact with the business market, promoting new business growth, gathering and reporting market data.
• Identifies and exploits new business opportunities, specifically additional products that the Company should be developing in order to satisfy market demands.
• Ensures that quotations are submitted and followed up in a timely and professional manner, maximising quotation conversion.
• Ensures that customer requirements are correctly interpreted, contract terms and conditions are fully understood and properly negotiated.
• Conducts sales negotiations within specified limits of authority.
• Establishes reasons for non-conversion of enquires into sales.
• Maintains customer contact throughout contract execution, ensuring maximum customer satisfaction and assists, when necessary, in the resolution of queries relating to debts, and with cash collection.
• Submits regular and comprehensive sales and marketing reports via the Company CRM system (IFS).
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Experience

• Previous sales experience within the Industrial Refrigeration Sector.
• A good working knowledge of Industrial Refrigeration Systems & their design & operation.
• Intermediate level in Excel, conversant with V Look Up/Pivot Tables.
• Ability to use Microsoft packages, including Outlook, Word & PowerPoint.
• High degree of technical knowledge relating to industrial products
• Good command of English language, other language skills desirable but not required
• HNC/HND/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Thermodynamic discipline or experience related skills

J & E Hall offer a complete supply and delivery solution for high quality refrigeration, HVAC and compressor spare parts for all leading manufacturers.
We also support the sale of our own commercial and industrial products with a comprehensive range of spares for commercial condensing units, cellar coolers, Hall Screw Packs, Industrial Chillers and HallScrew compressors.
The business is supported by a dedicated sales, technical and warehouse function. The Company's central purchasing and marketing departments are also based out of the Derby office.
