We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven all round Sales Manager to lead our sales and marketing efforts.
The operation is a hotel which is a full service 4 star property which caters for weddings, corporate events and other occasions, with this role focused on proactive sales in both Rooms or Conference & Event sales. You will be driving corporate and leisure trade in this role, a knowledge of the Merseyside area is preferred in order to build on business from the City Region.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a proven track record in sales management, and the ability to analyse market trends to drive business growth. This role requires a strategic thinker who can effectively manage teams and utilise online tools to optimise sales processes.
Duties
Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to achieve company objectives.
Lead, mentor, and manage the sales and marketing teams, fostering a culture of high performance and accountability.
Analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth.
Oversee the utilisation of Salesforce for tracking sales activities, managing customer relationships, and generating reports.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of marketing initiatives with overall business goals.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, making data-driven adjustments as necessary.
Prepare regular reports on sales performance and marketing effectiveness for senior management.
Represent the company at industry events and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a leadership role within sales and marketing, with a strong understanding of sales processes.
Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM tools is essential.
Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships at all levels.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
A degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
