Because when advertising is done right, it benefits everyone. We are seeking a strategic, driven, and collaborative Ad Sales Manager to lead Apple News advertising across the United Kingdom. This leader will oversee a team of Client Partners responsible for delivering thoughtful, brand-forward advertising solutions to some of the world's most influential marketers. The ideal candidate has a strong grasp of digital media, a deep understanding of the UK agency landscapes, and a proven track record of managing high-performing sales teams. In this role, you will help advertisers tap into the editorial excellence, engaged audiences, and innovative formats of Apple News. You will work cross-functionally with internal teams including Marketing, Product, Operations, and Analytics to bring ideas to life and grow the Apple News advertising business with integrity and excellence.




Description





As a Manager on the Apple News Ad Sales team, you will: - Lead, coach, and develop a team of Client Partners across the UK markets. Set and manage revenue targets, providing strategic guidance to unlock growth across priority verticals. - Foster senior-level relationships with media agencies and brand marketers to drive adoption of Apple News advertising. - Partner closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Marketing, and Operations to shape go-to-market strategies and improve the advertiser experience. - Drive innovation in storytelling and branded experiences that align with the unique strengths of Apple News. - Deliver proactive guidance, feedback, and support to help the team exceed expectations and scale their impact. - Represent Apple News in internal forums and industry events with professionalism and thought leadership.




Minimum Qualifications



Tenured experience in digital media with a focus on brand advertising and content-driven sales. Significant people management experience leading sales teams, ideally within a matrixed organisation. Experience hiring, building, and scaling high-performing ad sales teams in dynamic or high-growth environments. Demonstrated success in building and growing strategic client relationships, particularly with agencies and global brands.


Preferred Qualifications



Deep understanding of the media planning and buying process within the UK agency ecosystems. Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills with a collaborative mindset. Ability to translate data and insights into compelling narratives that drive results. Experience working with editorial content or in premium publisher environments is a plus. Passion for Apple's brand and commitment to upholding editorial integrity. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is beneficial.
