The Role:
Puttshack is looking to attract a diverse team of fun hospitality associates who care deeply about creating an elevated, one-of-a-kind guest experience.
The Sales Manager reports to the General Manager and is responsible for driving exceptional event and group sales performance at the venue. Responsibilities include but are not limited to managing and reporting monthly and quarterly Key Performance Indicators (KPI's), maximising Spend Per Head (SPH) and exceeding established event and group revenue goals. The Sales Manager must display the ability to uphold Puttshack standards and procedures, maximise financial performance, and build relationships within the venue based operational teams and in the local community to help grow the Puttshack brand.

45 hours per week, shifts between Monday to Saturday
Pay Range:
DOE (basic + commission)
Reports to:
General Manager with indirect reporting to Marketing & Sales Director
Key Responsibilities:
Bring your 'A' Game each and lead by example by demonstrating Puttshack core values
Stay current on industry trends, market conditions and competitor activity
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive outreach, networking, and lead generation
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners and the community to ensure long-term success
Utilise Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) to drive performance and standards, reporting regularly
Assist GM and Sales & Marketing Director with event revenue forecasting and planning
Partner with the venue and kitchen team for daily review of event orders ensuring correct and timely communication
Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, sales, guest services and operations teams to align sales strategies with business objectives
Attend HQ for regular training and sales days
Who you are:
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to go above and beyond, demonstrating meaningful care in everything you do
A high level of emotional intelligence, professionalism, and overall self-awareness
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Qualifications and Experience:
At Least 1 year of prior experience as a Sales Manager in a high volume (2M+ annual event/groups revenue) restaurant, hotel, or entertainment/leisure environment
Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets consistently
Preferably 3+ years of B2B and/or B2C sales experience
Overall knowledge of the local area businesses and existing client base an advantage
Proficiency with booking systems (Triple Seat and Seven Rooms) and reporting
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
