Job Description

About Packamama

Packamama is rewriting the rules of wine packaging; merging deep respect for wine tradition with breakthrough climate tech. We are a climate-focused packaging company helping wine brands decarbonise at scale.

Our signature product is the

eco-flat wine bottle

, made from

100% recycled PET.

It is

87% lighter than glass,

spatially more efficient, shatterproof, and fully recyclable. These features allow wineries and brands to cut transport emissions, reduce breakage loss, and rethink the cost of packaging in the supply chain.

We have earned recognition and support; including major grants in Australia to help scale our innovation globally. Looking ahead, we are building a packaging facility of the future; one that decouples standard, inflexible lines and brings digital connectivity, format flexibility, and sustainability transparency to wine packaging.

If you care about climate, packaging, wine, and shifting legacy industries; you will thrive here.

Role Overview

You will be the commercial thrust behind Packamama's global growth. As Sales Manager, you will own strategic B2B relationships, manage and optimise our Salesforce-driven pipeline, and help us scale across the UK, Europe, Australia, South Africa, and the US.

You are someone who can speak both wine and packaging technicalities; and business impact. You can open doors, land high-stakes deals, and translate data into decisions. You will work hand in hand with leadership to achieve company-defined goals and build out our go-to-market playbook.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Growth and Strategy: Drive B2B sales initiatives to expand Packamama's customer base across key global markets; achieve company-defined goals and demonstrate consistent, measurable performance. CRM and Data Discipline: Serve as a Salesforce power user to manage the entire sales pipeline, tracking leads, forecasting revenue, analysing data, and ensuring customer relationships are nurtured with precision. Wine and Packaging Expertise: Apply in-depth knowledge of the wine supply chain, from bottling and contract packing to innovative packaging choices; identify and close high-value opportunities. Marketing and Enablement: Lead and execute practical marketing initiatives, such as crafting sales collateral, coordinating digital content, and supporting the sales pipeline. Strategic Collaboration: Partner closely with the Senior Team to align sales activities with broader business objectives and growth plans. Industry Networking: Leverage existing wine-industry relationships and actively cultivate new connections to accelerate opportunities and forge long-term partnerships.

Requirements

Proven success in B2B sales, with at least 1 year of sales leadership experience. Advanced proficiency in Salesforce, with a track record of using CRM tools for sales management, data analysis, and reporting. Strong understanding of the wine industry supply chain and sustainable packaging solutions. Strategic planning skills and the ability to collaborate closely with senior leadership. Ability to leverage AI tools to increase efficiency and improve the quality of internal work such as research, analysis, and reporting. Excellent networking skills with established contacts in the wine sector. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and related productivity tools.

What We Offer

A salary package reflective of your background, skills, and the impact you deliver. A chance to play a key role in advancing sustainable packaging solutions across global wine markets. Close collaboration with the CEO and Founder, offering a unique opportunity to shape company strategy and gain multifaceted business experience. The opportunity to work alongside a senior leadership team with extensive international wine, packaging, and commercial expertise, bringing decades of high-level industry knowledge and proven success. A dynamic, hands-on environment where innovation and professional growth are encouraged.
