Reporting to the General Manager, Novum Head Quarters and commercial support team at IHG, you will be highly proactive in managing key client accounts, gaining new business with excellent relationship building skills and driving revenue to exceed targets.
The Role:
Proactively uncover new prospects for the hotel and maximise conversion of new business.
Working within current business strategies and recognise potential opportunities
Responsible for the conversion of the hotel's new business pipeline across all market segments and heavily assisting in converting enquiries to achieve annual budget.
Analysing the local market trends and competitor activity to identify hotel leads
Building and growing the relationships with key clients
Building and growing relationships with key IHG contacts
Responding to corporate RFPs and contract corporate accounts.
Responsible for the management of a selected portfolio accounts.
Production and delivery of the sales performance reports (versus targets, KPI's and overall sales objectives)
Completing all re-negotiation and re-contracting of annual rate agreements to ensure that new contracts are in line with the hotels' agreed financial KPIs
Investigating new areas of business in terms of market development into new territories and market segments to quantifiable targets.
Hosting clients, attending network events, industry events and corporate travel to build relationships and new business.
Supporting the General Manager with monthly Fair planner business reviews & quarterly commercial reviews
Completing the rolling forecast on Fair planner and updating monthly completing all sales sections of the forecast for rooms and food and beverage
Commercial planning with IHG to implement activities.
Supporting marketing initiatives, social media and 3rd party platforms.
Supporting conversion with the M&E team and revenue team as and when the IWHC
Other Duties
The Role:
You will work in an operation role as required by the needs of the business , always ensuring the delivery of an exceptional guest experience and ensuring all customer enquiries and requests are dealt with promptly, courteously, and efficiently, always achieving the best revenue streams through all outlets
You will be required to work in an operational role at least one day in a five day working week
Controlling training completions and assignments.
Help creating new S.O.P and processes for front office sales activities you shall oversea
Prepare monthly reports and analyse key metrics to assist the General Manager in implementing a sales and marketing strategy to maximise occupancy and profitability
Regularly analyse guests feedbacks and implement service improvements
Act as a communication bridge between departments to ensure and guests satisfaction
Help anticipating and planning for peak periods and special events
