The Role
We are seeking a commercially astute Sales & Marketing Director to lead integrated growth strategies across sales, account management, and marketing. This is a pivotal leadership role for a strategic operator who thrives in high-accountability environments and knows how to balance tactical execution with long-term strategy.
This individual will be responsible for:
Driving net revenue growth and pipeline opportunities
Leading a high-performing commercial team across sales and marketing
Owning brand positioning, lead generation, and customer engagement
Aligning cross-functional initiatives with corporate objectives
Reporting directly to the Managing Director and contributing to executive strategy
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
Define and communicate a unified commercial vision
Set and deliver annual revenue, pipeline, and brand KPIs
Integrate product, support, and service into go-to-market plans
Sales Management
Oversee new business and account management functions
Implement forecasting, CRM discipline, and performance tracking
Ensure data integrity and pipeline transparency
Marketing Execution
Own the marketing budget and campaign calendar
Lead digital, content, PR, events, and sponsorship initiatives
Refine brand messaging and collateral in collaboration with Product
Customer Engagement
Develop key account strategies and upsell frameworks
Standardise account plans and service protocols
Maintain high satisfaction and retention across top-tier clients
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with Product, Finance, and Operations
Provide market intelligence to inform roadmap and positioning
Team Development
Recruit, coach, and retain top commercial talent
Foster a culture of creativity, accountability, and growth
Financial & Executive Reporting
Own OpEx and marketing ROI metrics
Present performance insights to the Executive Team
Contribute to bi-weekly senior leadership forums
As the Sales & Marketing Director you'll possess a:
Proven leadership in B2B software or SaaS sales and marketing
Track record of leading commercial targets
Passion for developing, coaching and growing ambitious professionals
CRM and marketing automation expertise
Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
