Role Overview
We are seeking a results-driven
Sales & Marketing Manager
who will lead all marketing activities while also developing new sales channels and driving business growth. This dual role blends creativity with commercial focus: from social media campaigns and product launches, to building B2B relationships and securing catering/event contracts. You will work closely with senior management and play a key role in shaping the future of Comptoir Bakery.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Responsibilities:
Social Media Management:
Manage Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn, creating and posting engaging content.
Branding & Creative:
Design packaging, posters, leaflets, signage, and digital assets while maintaining brand consistency.
Campaign Development:
Plan and execute seasonal promotions, new product launches, and project campaigns.
Digital Marketing:
Manage newsletters, website promotions, and basic SEO for improved online ranking.
Offline Marketing:
Support in-store promotions, events, and catering marketing.
Sales Responsibilities:
Business Development:
Identify and secure new B2B opportunities (corporate catering, events).
Client Relations:
Build strong relationships with partners and event organisers.
Revenue Growth:
Drive catering/event orders, upsell seasonal products, and achieve sales targets.
Lead Conversion:
Follow up on enquiries, convert leads into confirmed contracts, and manage client pipelines.
Partnerships:
Develop collaborations with local businesses, hotels, offices, and food distributors.
Collaboration & Strategy:
Work closely with the Director and senior management to align sales and marketing strategies with business goals.
Monitor analytics and KPIs to measure campaign and sales performance.
Provide feedback on customer trends and market opportunities.
Skills & Experience
Proven experience in sales and marketing, ideally within hospitality, food & beverage, or retail.
Strong track record in B2B business development and client management.
Knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and content creation.
Understanding of SEO, email marketing, and digital campaigns.
Confident negotiator with strong communication skills.
Organised, proactive, and capable of managing multiple projects.
Creative thinker with commercial awareness.
