Job Description

We're looking to recruit a Sales & Marketing Support Assistant to join the friendly team at our Hyundai dealership in Peterborough.

Reporting to the Hyundai Sales Manager, this position supports the day-to-day sales and marketing activities at this busy dealership.

The main sales-related duties of this role will include:

Meeting and greeting clients in the showroom environment. Accompanying clients on test drives when required. Delivery and collection of vehicles. Checking in new and used vehicles when they arrive at the dealership. Keeping up to date with the latest product information in order to be able to knowledgeably answer questions from clients about the Hyundai product ranges.

The main marketing-related duties of this role will include:

Photographing and producing videos of our new and used stock vehicles for publication on our website. Creating social media content for the dealership's Facebook and Instagram pages. Overseeing our online electric vehicle communities. Representing the dealership at off-site promotional events. Assisting the Group Marketing Department with Hyundai-specific marketing activities.
In time, there may be the opportunity to focus this role more towards either sales or marketing depending on your skills and career ambitions.

Salary, Benefits, and Working Hours

The role offers the opportunity to earn up to 32,000 OTE per year. Working hours are 8.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday.

Who We're Looking For

This role would suit someone looking to take their first steps in a sales and marketing career, possibly a recent university graduate, however, we're looking to hear from anyone who feels they have the skills and enthusiasm to make a success of this role.

We're looking for someone with the following skills, knowledge and abilities:

A full, clean UK driving licence. A competent computer user with a basic understanding of Microsoft Office programmes. A good understanding of social media. A team player who is adaptable to a variety of situations. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Comfortable working with technology. The ability to confidently interact with clients, both face-to-face and over the telephone. A knowledge of, or interest in, photography and/or videography.
An interest in cars, in particular electric vehicles, would be highly beneficial for this role.
