Duties
Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to achieve individual and collective targets
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to expand market share
Monitor team performance through regular reviews and provide coaching to improve skills and productivity
Analyse sales data and prepare reports for senior management to inform decision-making
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders
Organise training programmes for new and existing team members to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques
Oversee the recruitment process for new sales staff, ensuring the team is adequately staffed with talented individuals
Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional campaigns that support sales objectives
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations at all times
Experience
Proven experience in a sales supervisory or managerial role within a relevant industry
Demonstrable success in meeting or exceeding sales targets
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a team
Excellent organisational and planning abilities
Proficiency in analysing sales metrics and preparing detailed reports
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with clients and team members alike
Experience with CRM software or other sales management tools is preferred
A recognised qualification in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration or related fields would be advantageous
