Job Description

With a multi-million-pound investment transforming our hazardous waste treatment and recovery services in Honiton an exciting position has risen for a new Sales Support Assistant. This is a full time, permanent role reporting to the General Manager. You will be the initial point of contact for typically our Hazardous Waste customers ensuring that detailed and accurate information is collected/inputted into systems, providing quotations to customers and providing a tele-sales function to support the efforts of the Business Development Managers.

The role will require you to monitor and update sales orders, generate outgoing calls, emails and mailshots to current and new customers. You will have the ability to build up a rapport with our customers and enhance their experience of Future Industrial Service (part of the Augean Group).

We are looking for a committed individual with an outgoing personality who enjoys striking up conversations and can communicate effectively and confidently by phone or in person with customers and suppliers at all levels. You must be happy to work independently without direct supervision and work calmly under strict deadline pressures. You will ideally have previous experience in a sales and/or customer service environment. The ability to work well as part of a team and interact positively with colleagues is essential

We are looking for an individual who has good customer service skills, is proactive and self-motivated, can work under strict deadlines and pressures but also someone who can lead by example.
