Reporting to the National Account Manager, the Sales Support Executive will play a vital role in supporting the sales team by visiting customers nationwide to finalise the details needed to process orders efficiently. The role involves assisting customers in selecting final finishes, such as fabrics and wood options, taking measurements for window treatments and presenting samples to aid decision-making. This is a customer-facing role requiring excellent communication and attention to detail to ensure all specifications are accurately captured before manufacturing begins.
Key Responsibilities:
Visit customers at their premises to finalise order details and assist with decision-making
Obtain and confirm necessary details for order processing, such as fabric choices, wood finishes, and custom measurements
Present samples to customers to help them make informed choices about their furniture and interiors
Work closely with the internal sales team to ensure all required information is gathered promptly.
Maintain detailed records of customer visits and update internal systems accordingly
Provide a professional and knowledgeable level of customer service that aligns with Shackletons' core values.
Key Skills Required:
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
High level of attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to problem-solve and think proactively in a customer-facing environment
Self-motivated with excellent organisational skills
Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
Ability to work independently while maintaining strong collaboration with internal teams
Proficient in using software such as Outlook and Excel
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide.
Experience Required:
Previous experience in a customer-facing role, understanding of interiors, or furniture industries is a benefit
Familiarity with handling customer enquiries.
