Nisbets Limited are currently recruiting for a Sales Support Manager to join our team in Flitwick and lead the Sales Support function within our Sales Office.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of Sales Support Executives, ensuring they are equipped to deliver outstanding service to our UK and international customers. This role plays a key part in supporting the wider commercial team, streamlining sales processes, and driving operational efficiency across the business.
You will oversee and be involved with the day to day of processing sales orders, coordinate timely deliveries, manage pricing enquiries, and liaise with logistics partners to ensure a seamless customer experience. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and organised individual with a strong background in sales support or customer service management.
This role will be based at our Flitwick office, with flexibility to work from home as part of a hybrid working pattern after a period of training.
Key Accountabilities
1. Lead and manage a team of Sales Support Executives, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
2. Set and monitor KPI targets to drive team performance.
3. Analyse and improve sales processes to enhance productivity and customer satisfaction.
4. Provide training and development to build product knowledge and service capabilities.
5. Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Purchasing teams to support customer relationships.
6. Ensure accurate and timely generation of documentation including order confirmations, commercial invoices, and export documents.
7. Resolve system, data, or communication issues affecting distributor experience.
8. Map and maintain core commercial processes and support internal rollouts.
Capabilities, Skills and Experience Required
1. Minimum 3 years' experience in a Sales Support Manager or Customer Service Manager role within a B2B Distribution, FMCG, or Manufacturing environment (preferred).
2. Proven ability to mentor and develop high-performing teams.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Experience handling orders and logistics in a product-based business (export documentation experience advantageous).
5. Strong working knowledge of Excel and ERP/CRM systems.
6. High attention to detail and accuracy in data processing.
7. Comfortable working cross-functionally and with international partners.
8. Strong organisational and time management skills with a proactive approach.
