Role overview

This is a full-time employee remote role and requires you to be based in the UK or Ireland with the necessary right to work.


As a Senior Salesforce Consultant at Bluewave, you bring ~5 years of hands-on Salesforce experience, ideally gained in a Salesforce Consultancy or a large in-house user/client environment. As a Bluewave Senior Salesforce Consultant you will be focussed mainly on the successful delivery of client projects.


The role is client-facing and will involve frequent interaction with client stakeholders, internal team and potentially third parties.


You will be involved in a variety of projects and will be relied upon at all stages of a project; discovery to delivered and may even include pre-sales or proof-of-concept steps.

People we are looking for

Configure, build, and test the application or technical architecture components, or direct others in doing so, including page layouts, lightning applications, Flows, Validation rules and other declarative features of Salesforce, up to and including use of add-ons and integrations that are utilised in a total enterprise environment.


Ensure work is well engineered and is performant and maintainable. Participate in transitions of the application or functional components to the testers. Fix any functional defects and performance problems discovered in testing. Document the application to facilitate maintenance.


Effectively communicate the possibilities & implications with declarative functionality, and the ability to push back on client requests through positive expectation management.Lead and implement project tasks within an end to end process on own. Actively engage and interact with senior management and maintain stakeholder relationships, taking interest in the overall direction of the client's project/programme of works.


To know and understand the devops tools being used on the Client's project and to be able to oversee deployments and release management. To know and promote Salesforce best practice and utilise Salesforce's declarative functionality as far as possible, with the technical acumen to know when a code based solution is more appropriate. Lead on solution design in terms of automations, custom objects, data relationships in Salesforce. Understand business processes and gather functional business requirements, and to translate into actionable User Stories, Epics. Understand other connected technologies for Salesforce (e.g. managed packages, other clouds, etc) and their interaction and application in the wider technology landscape.


Identify, raise and document project issues and risks, and present these to Project team and stakeholders. Recommend new features and improvements to optimize and increase use of the platform. Ability to be involved in presales to gather & validate a potential client's requirements with Salesforce products and simple integrations

Your skills and experiences

Demonstrable proficiency in Salesforce, encompassing Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Lightning Experience. Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies and adeptness in working with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery. Exceptional communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels. Track record of successfully managing Salesforce projects and driving user adoption. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling the translation of complex business requirements into actionable solutions. Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with Salesforce platform updates and enhancements Communication - excellent communication skill and interpersonal skills. Ability to facilitate workshops and conference calls with confidence. It's important that you are confident and clear in your messaging both written and verbal Teamwork/Collaboration - team orientated, with experience supporting less experienced members Presentation Skills - excellent ability to share product expertise and business knowledge to audiences of all levels Problem Solving - excellent ability to anticipate problems and identify solutions Adaptable - excellent ability to adopt a flexible work style in changing circumstances and shift priorities when necessary Migration strategy, data mapping, legacy cleansing API integrations and middleware awareness Declarative: Complex Flow building and maintenance, Lightning App Builder, Dynamic Forms Testing: Regression and UAT planning support Proficient in using change sets for configuration deployments Coordinates with technical teams for deployment planning, sandbox refreshes, and pre/post-deployment checks
