Role Overview

The Salon Director will be the driving force behind our success, leading operations, shaping culture, and ensuring excellence across every aspect of the salon. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who is both commercially astute and passionate about people.

Key Responsibilities

Lead all aspects of salon operations to deliver a seamless, high-quality client experience. Recruit, coach, and inspire a high-performing team of stylists and support staff. Achieve and exceed revenue, profitability, and client retention targets. Maintain brand standards in service, presentation, and environment. Track and analyse performance metrics (appointments, client feedback, retail sales, retention). Work with ownership on strategy, service development, and marketing initiatives. Oversee compliance with health & safety, employment law, and industry best practice. Champion training, education, and continuous development across the team. Build a culture of professionalism, accountability, and creativity.
Requirements

Demonstrated leadership experience in a salon or luxury hospitality environment. Strong commercial understanding with proven ability to deliver results. Excellent people management and motivational skills. Passion for outstanding client service and ability to lead by example. Organised, resilient, and solution-focused. Confident with budgets, KPIs, and operational systems.
