Salon Manager Job Advert - Peckham

Blue Tit are looking for a highly skilled and efficient manager to oversee the daily operations of our Peckham salon on a permanent basis. You will have strong leadership, management, and interpersonal skills.

We seek a stylist manager who has demonstrated outstanding client retention and customer service skills. This individual should be capable of motivating and guiding a team in both creative and commercial aspects. They should be eager to take the helm, overseeing a bustling column, and coaching their team to emulate their leadership.

You will be responsible for:

Managing the superstar team of hairdressers, assistants, apprentices and FOH. Evaluating individual performance, providing encouragement, productive guidance, and coaching. Supporting and motivating stylists in reaching their sales targets. Managing the front of house team and ensuring effective running of the Blue Tit booking system. Providing guidance to the FOH team on meeting their goals and targets. Maximising appointments and schedule availability. Ensuring the gorgeous flagship salon is always looking its absolute best. Flagging salon repairs and ensuring you are available for contractors. Weekly team meetings. Managing salon inventory and minimising product wastage. Championing salon and team sustainability. Managing and minimising employee absence with a supportive approach, carrying out return to work meetings. Ensuring the salon and staff are complying to health and safety standards. Weekly salon performance reporting. Organise team socials and cultivate a fun, happy and motivational team culture.

The starting salary is 35,000 with potential to earn 40k-60k-70k+ per annum. Discretionary monthly bonus. Cycle to work scheme.
