We are seeking a friendly and professional Salon Receptionist to join our friendly team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional customer service while managing the day-to-day operations of the salon. This role requires strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
Greet clients warmly and manage their appointments efficiently
Answer phone calls with excellent phone etiquette, addressing client inquiries and booking appointments
Maintain an organised reception area and ensure all client records are up to date
Perform data entry tasks accurately, including client information and appointment details
Utilise Microsoft Office and Google Workspace for administrative tasks, including typing correspondence and managing schedules
Support salon staff by coordinating schedules and ensuring necessary supplies are available
Handling of cash and credit card transactions
Responsible for opening and closing the salon when required
To learn and have knowledge of the treatments provided and salon products.
Upselling skills
Experience
Previous office or administrative experience is essential
Proficiency in computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Excellent typing skills and attention to detail for accurate data entry
Previous experience in a customer-facing role is highly desirable
A keen interest in the beauty/spa field
