We are seeking a friendly and professional Salon Receptionist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional customer service while managing front desk operations. This role requires strong communication skills, a passion for the beauty industry, and the ability to upsell services effectively. Experience in makeup application, eyelash extensions, or barbering is a plus.

Duties

Greet clients warmly as they arrive at the salon and ensure they feel welcome. Manage appointment bookings and confirmations efficiently using our scheduling system. Provide information about services offered and assist clients in selecting the best options for their needs. Upsell additional services and products to enhance client experience and salon revenue. Handle client inquiries and resolve any issues with professionalism and courtesy. Maintain an organised front desk area, ensuring it is clean and presentable at all times. Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment as needed. Collaborate with stylists and other team members to ensure smooth salon operations. Mentor junior staff members when required, sharing knowledge about customer service best practices.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably within the beauty or wellness industry. Strong communication skills with an ability to engage effectively with clients. Experience in makeup application, eyelash extensions, or barbering is highly desirable. Ability to upsell services confidently while maintaining a positive client relationship. Organised with excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. A passion for the beauty industry and a desire to learn about new trends and techniques. Familiarity with front desk operations in a salon environment is advantageous but not essential.
