At Hiro Miyoshi our team forms the very heartbeat of our business. We have cultivated a culture with kindness at the core, and due to a rapid expansion, are looking for talented individuals to join team of four high-end hair salons in the heart of Mayfair as a Head Salon Receptionist / Front of House. You will be working alongside our friendly and professional team to make sure every client has the perfect experience from the moment they enter the salons right until they leave. We are looking for a candidate who is passionate, professional, confident, and flexible to adapt to our salons and become a part of our amazing team.

This is a Full-Time position.

Salon Shifts:

9am-6pm 10am-7pm 11am-8pm
40 working hours/week .

Opening Days:

Monday - Saturday; 5 Day Working Week.

Shifts will be Rotated and flexibility is expected

Key Tasks

Booking appointments face to face and via telephone, email and online

Handling various booking apps

General Admin work

Answering inquiries and advising clients regarding the salon services available

Opening and cashing up

Handling stock control and liaising with suppliers

Maintaining a high level of customer service with a positive attitude towards the clients at all times

Looking after stylists and the shop floor

Essential requirements:

Relevant experience in the Hair/Beauty Industry

Experience as a Hair Salon Receptionist or similar but passionate about hair & beauty is a must

Fluent English in both speaking and writing

Relevant Experience with Salon booking systems

Ability to work with Microsoft Word, Excel and have a good general knowledge of IT

Ability to manage people in a respectful manner is a must and your customer service has to be impeccable

Desirable:

Ability to work confidently and effectively under pressure

Patience and a calm attitude towards salon life

Working with Shortcuts booking system

Working experience in a luxury background is ideal

Excellent communication skill with professional manners and understanding for clients as well as the colleagues
