Role Overview
Parker Bathrooms & Kitchens is an independent, design-led bathroom and kitchen showroom based in Brighton. We are seeking a reliable, personable, and motivated individual to provide Saturday showroom cover, often working independently.
This role would suit someone interested in gaining exposure to sales, interiors, and design, with the opportunity to progress into a Sales Designer role for candidates seeking a longer-term career within the industry.
Reliability is critical. As the sole showroom cover on Saturdays, the successful candidate must be dependable and committed to attending every scheduled shift.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Front-of-House
-Welcoming walk-in clients and telephone enquiries, confidently initiating conversation
- Acting as the first point of contact for new enquiries
- Capturing detailed lead information, including project scope, timelines, budgets, and requirements
-Qualifying leads effectively and booking follow-up design appointments for Sales Designers
Customer Service & Aftersales
-Answering the phone and managing customer service-related calls
-Assisting existing clients with queries and directing issues appropriately
-Maintaining a professional, calm, and helpful approach at all times
Administration & Showroom Support
-Covering the showroom when a sales designer is otherwise unavailable
-Accurately recording notes and enquiries within the company's management software
-Carrying out light administrative and ad-hoc tasks
-Keeping the showroom presentable and well-organised
-Updating samples, brochures, and catalogues as required
General
-Supporting the wider team in a flexible, hands-on manner
-Adapting to a varied workload where no two days are the same
Skills & Experience - Essential
-Highly reliable and punctual
-Confident, personable, and articulate communicator
-Comfortable engaging with customers face-to-face and over the phone
-Computer literate, with a basic working knowledge of Microsoft 365
-Willing and able to learn new management software (full training provided)
-Organised, attentive to detail, and capable of working independently
-Adaptable and flexible, with a proactive attitude
Desirable
-Interest in interiors, design, or sales
-Understanding of social media platforms and basic content creation
-Full UK driving licence
Training & Development
-Full onboarding and software training provided
-Ongoing industry-related training
-Clear progression opportunities into a Sales Design role for candidates seeking long-term development
