About the Role:

Pro-Roll is looking to take on an experienced Saw Operator who has experience in band sawing.

Tasks:

Loading of material, precise measurement, interpreting orders, operating automatic Kasto & Danobat band saws, finishing of edges, awareness and management of metalworking fluids/coolants.

Weighing materials, correctly identifying & labelling, measuring activities (micrometres/verniers/tapes), checking against orders, completing paperwork, storing materials.

Essential Skill Requirements:

Experience in working in a steelworks/metal manufacturing. Prior band sawing experience Skilled in using Verniers and/or micrometres. Keen, motivated and reliable. Excellent attention to detail. Fully compliant to Health & Safety requirements. FLT License (refresher training can be provided).*
Overhead Crane certified (refresher training can be provided)*
