XL Scaffolding is a well-established and respected scaffolding contractor based in Peterborough, known for delivering safe, reliable, and innovative access solutions across a wide range of sectors. As we continue to grow, we are looking to recruit an experienced Estimator/Surveyor to join our dynamic team.

The Role

As a Scaffolding Estimator/Surveyor, you will play a key role in the commercial success of our projects. You'll be responsible for preparing accurate estimates, conducting site surveys, and liaising with clients to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed and competitive scaffolding estimates for commercial, industrial, and residential projects.

Conduct site visits and surveys to assess project requirements and constraints.

Interpret drawings, specifications, and tender documents.

Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure clarity and accuracy in pricing and project scope.

Monitor project costs and variations, providing regular updates and reports.

Assist in the preparation of valuations, final accounts, and project handovers.

Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company policies.

What We're Looking For

Proven experience in scaffolding estimating and/or surveying.

Strong knowledge of scaffolding systems, regulations, and industry standards.

Excellent numerical and analytical skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and estimating software.

Strong communication and negotiation abilities.

Full UK driving licence.
