Summary
As a Scenic Carpenter, you will be essential in creating visually stunning sets and structures for various productions. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will utilize your core skills in carpentry, joinery, and power tools to construct and assemble intricate designs. Join us to bring artistic visions to life and ensure a seamless execution of creative projects in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
Construct and assemble scenic elements using hand and power tools, ensuring precision and quality. Collaborate with designers to interpret and execute designs accurately. Perform joinery and fabrication tasks for various projects. Assist in installation and maintenance of sets. Adhere to safety protocols while lifting heavy materials and operating equipment. Support the team with additional construction tasks as needed, including painting.
Qualifications
Proficient in hand tools, power tools, and carpentry techniques Strong skills in joinery and fabrication Ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various construction environments Relevant certifications in carpentry or related fields are a plus
