Job objectives and responsibilities





The primary focus of this role is to provide support to the Senior operations Manager and the South West Security operation in it's entirety. The role will underpin our company values and deliver this to our security team to uphold all values that Mitie hold. The main duties support ways of working but not withstanding additional requests to support our customer or Mitie staff.







Main duties






Prioritise sites on a risk basis and spend time across region accordingly. Partner with the Operations management team in order to continually improve the service offering to all our customers. Show a level of flexibility and be able to adapt to new requests outside of the core role on request. Where appropriate for role, undertake Office Management responsibilities, such as facilities management, health and safety procedures. Ensure all requests are responded to in a timely manner Ensuring systems and software processed and inputted is in accordance with GDPR. Any other reasonable duties as required by your Line Manager Ensure standards of dress, safety (PPE) and presentation are always maintained in line with client expectation and report back any requirements to operations manager. Provide management support outside of core hours as in business-critical situations. Provision of daily activity reports to the Senior operations manage.

Work with Operations managers to ensure regular updates are communicated to all staff.

To assist the Operations Managers in any HR cases as required

Be prepared to undertake any reasonable duty as and when required to meet the clients expectations.

1 week per month to undertake the Duty Manager role which will include weekend working

Checking of onsite equipment, Laptops, Phones, Printers, Search wands. Ordering where needed

Understanding of Merlin

Checking and Updating of AI's RA's Training recording. Both online and paper copies on sites



Training and E Learning



Checking officers have access to e-learning

Ensuring eLearning is completed

Ensuring that there is evidence on site



Welfare checks




Site Visits and Welfare check out of Hours that are recorded on WP+



Investigations




Operations Manager assistance with Investigations/Grievances



Person Specification





Min 2 years' experience in an operational role

Involvement in a regulated operational regime

Good and positive commercial skills, high level numeracy & literacy skills

Excellent report-writing and analytical skills with attention to detail.
