About The Role:



Synergize provides responsive maintenance and project works to Ministry of Defence (MOD) housing estates across London, Kent, and the Home Counties. As a Scheduler, you will be a key member of a dedicated team responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimising the delivery of both reactive and planned maintenance works through the client's asset management system, Maximo.

You will work closely with field-based operatives and MOD housing families to ensure service delivery is smooth, efficient, and customer-focused, supporting our "families first" ethos. You will also contribute to achieving performance targets, improving scheduling efficiency, and proactively resolving any issues that may impact service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:



Serve as a primary point of contact for incoming calls via the dedicated service line, ensuring queries are resolved or escalated appropriately

Schedule reactive and pre-booked maintenance appointments efficiently using Maximo, deploying operatives based on skill set, location, and availability

Liaise with residents to confirm appointments, provide updates, and reschedule when required to maintain high customer satisfaction

Optimise travel routes and workforce deployment to reduce downtime and increase productivity

Upload required certifications and documentation to job records in line with client compliance requirements

Monitor operative attendance and report concerns such as missed appointments or early finishes to supervisors

Identify works that may fall outside contractual scope and flag for commercial review

Prioritise emergency works and adjust schedules to accommodate urgent requests while maintaining overall service continuity

Maintain clear and professional communication with operatives, supervisors, clients, and other stakeholders

Promote and uphold strong Health & Safety practices in all aspects of scheduling

Champion the client's values, with a strong focus on delivering services that put families first

Participate in an occasional out-of-hours rota

About You:



Proven experience in a scheduling, planning, or coordination role (experience within maintenance or facilities management is desirable but not essential)

Familiarity with asset management or scheduling systems such as Maximo, JobLogic, or Planet FM

Demonstrated ability to meet targets and manage a high workload in a fast-paced environment

Strong customer service skills with the ability to manage sensitive or urgent situations professionally

Confident IT user with the ability to quickly learn new systems

Eligible to obtain MOD security clearance

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 28,000.00-30,000.00 per year
