In this role, you will add value to PXP by:




Being responsible for ensuring end-to-end compliance with card scheme rules, mandates, and operational requirements across the business. You will monitor and interpret scheme updates, manage required documentation, support internal audits and reviews, and guide teams through regulatory and scheme-driven changes. Your focus will be on embedding scheme compliance into day-to-day operations and potentially product development, helping the company stay ahead of evolving requirements. This role will evolve based on your strengths and experience, offering the opportunity to shape how scheme compliance is managed across the organisation.

A typical week as a Schemes Compliance Manager might involve:



Own and manage relationships with card schemes (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, etc.), acting as the primary point of contact for all scheme-related matters. Ensure the business remains compliant with card scheme rules, mandates, and operational requirements. Track and communicate scheme updates across the company, supporting impacted teams with interpretation and implementation. Lead audits, scheme reviews, and related remediation efforts in collaboration with internal stakeholders. Support new product rollouts and operational changes with scheme compliance considerations from the outset. Submit all required scheme documentation, certifications, and ongoing reporting. Stay on top of regulatory and scheme changes, advising leadership on any implications or risks. Provide training and guidance to teams to foster internal awareness and operational readiness.
Note: This role is being shaped around the experience and strengths of the successful candidate, so responsibilities may evolve accordingly.

We are looking for someone who:



Deep knowledge of card scheme rules Proven experience in a card scheme compliance Strong stakeholder management skills Track record of managing audits and scheme reporting Understanding of the payments regulatory environment Strong stakeholder management skills

We would love someone to have any of the following:



Previous involvement in new product launches from a compliance lens Experience working with multiple schemes across multiple regions
