Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and high-quality food production
Supervise and manage kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management
Maintain strict adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations at all times
Assist in menu development and innovate new culinary ideas to enhance customer experience
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock control efficiently
Ensure all food presentation meets the company's standards for visual appeal
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery
Uphold organisational policies related to health & safety, cleanliness, and sanitation
Skills
Proven supervising experience within a busy kitchen or restaurant environment
Extensive food production and preparation skills across diverse cuisines
Strong team management capabilities with excellent leadership qualities
Proficiency in food safety standards and regulations (HACCP certification preferred)
Exceptional cooking skills with an eye for detail in presentation
Solid restaurant or hospitality experience demonstrating adaptability under pressure
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality
Excellent communication skills for effective team coordination and customer interaction
Knowledge of current culinary trends and innovative menu development techniques
