We work collaboratively with residents and partners to improve economic inclusion, health, and wellbeing across Clackmannanshire and the wider Forth Valley. Our person-centred programmes support individuals of all ages facing complex and intersecting barriers to progression.
The Opportunity
We're expanding our pool of
self-employed sessional key workers
to deliver employability and wellbeing programmes as new contracts are secured. These flexible roles are ideal for experienced practitioners who thrive in dynamic environments and want to make a real difference.
You'll deliver a mix of:
1:1 keyworking
and personalised action planning
Group sessions
focused on soft skills, confidence-building, and employability (e.g. CVs, interviews, job search)
Health and wellbeing awareness
, peer support, and life skills
Warm referrals
to other services and employers
Creative, person-centred approaches
that engage participants who may not connect with traditional services
Programmes typically run for
6 weeks
, with delivery averaging
2-4 days per week (5 hours per day)
. Sessions take place at CERT's Alloa base or in community venues across Forth Valley.
Who We're Looking For
We're seeking calm, confident, and compassionate individuals who can:
Build trust and rapport with people facing multiple barriers
Deliver engaging, inclusive sessions that promote confidence and progression
Adapt to different settings and participant needs
Work independently while contributing to a collaborative team culture
Essential:
Experience supporting people with complex needs
Strong group facilitation and 1:1 support skills
Understanding of person-centred practice and inclusive delivery
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Desirable:
Assessor qualification (e.g. L&D9DI or equivalent)
Experience in employability, education, youth work, mental health, or community development
